Chinks occur?
Reason
- Something is jamming.
- Something stands between the roof and the Floor (e.g. step-ladder).
- Nails or screws are fixed through window/door frame into the wall logs.
- Water Conduit-pipe or electricity has been installed along the wall, without taking into consideration the warping of the wall logs.
- The building has been treated (painted) badly, so smaller logs shrink faster than he longer logs.
Solution
- Remove nails and/or screws.
- Install cables in a flexible way (e.g. with a loop).
- Paint the building properly.
