Cut out larger opening above windows and doors

Never fill the space above windows and doors shortly after delivery. These will disappear by themselves as the wood dries.

Sawing out a larger opening above windows and doors is only applicable if the gap is closed and the wall has no more room to sag as the wood continues to shrink. If you think you need to saw out a section of the wall because gaps are appearing, always consult your Lugarde dealer first!
