Doors & Windows

We offer a wide range of windows and doors for summerhouses, log cabins, gazebos, garages and carports. These are sturdier than the average windows and doors. We deliver all our windows and doors with double glazing and 3-point locks. This is included in the price. Our windows and doors can be stained in various colours.

Windows

All our windows are of the highest quality. They comply with strict European standards for timber quality, professional finishing and double glazing with high insulation levels. At Lugarde, you can choose from a wide range of windows. Below, you can read more about the different types of windows and their properties. And later, you can read more about our doors.

Casing

A casing is a frame into which a window or door can be fitted. Our casings are suitable for all types of windows. Features of our casings:

  • High quality
  • Laminated timber and dovetail joints (to prevent warping)
  • Small impurities are removed before processing
  • Corners are sealed with silicon sealant

Fixed glazing

We offer casings with fixed glazing and casings with windows that can be opened. Our casings with fixed glazing have the properties described above, under ‘Casing’. In addition, the windows are:

  • Well insulated with HR++ double glazing, with a high insulation level of 1.1
  • Made of laminated solid timber, with a thickness of 56 mm
  • Wind and waterproof (by means of draught strips), with a KOMO product certificate

Top-hung windows

Top-hung windows can be opened outwards. The hinges are at the top of the window, allowing the window to open at the bottom. This ensures that the interior remains protected against weather conditions. Top-hung windows offer the following advantages:

  • HR++ double glazing with a high insulation level of 1.1
  • Laminated solid timber, 56 mm thick
  • Wind and waterproof (by means of draught strips), with a KOMO product certificate
  • Windows can be set on the hinges using an Allen key
  • Extender arm in chrome with modern, stainless steel handle
  • Crossbars with a simple click-in clip system, easy to remove for cleaning or painting

Casement window

Casement windows consist of two parts and are opened outwards from the centre. Casement windows offer the following advantages:

  • Well insulated HR++ double glazing with a high insulation level of 1.1
  • Laminated solid timber, 56 mm thick
  • Wind and waterproof (by means of draught strips), with a KOMO product certificate
  • The windows can be locked using the handle built into the casing
  • Window arms (chrome or brass) can secure the open casement windows. This prevents them from blowing open. The windows open and close using pins which automatically slide into the casing.
  • Adjustable hinges
  • Sprung window arms, in chrome or brass

Tilt and turn windows

Tilt and turn windows are standard in almost every home. As is clear from the name, these windows can be opened to the side and also tilted. As a result, they are extremely flexible. Our high-quality tilt and turn windows rotate inwards.

The advantages are:

  • Well insulated HR++ double glazing with a high insulation level of 1.1
  • Laminated solid timber, 56 mm thick
  • Wind and waterproof (by means of draught strips), with a KOMO product certificate
  • Adjustable hinges

Doors

All of Lugarde’s doors are made of laminated timber to prevent warping. The doors have drainage holes too. We use three-point locks (with SKG’s seal of approval) as standard so that your summerhouse has optimum burglary protection. The doors have an aluminium wear strip to protect the threshold. We supply left-hand doors as standard. However, you may order a right-hand door free of charge.
